[Vimoutliner] folding

Thank you for the assistance.
I figured out what I was doing wrong.
When VIM 7.0 came out, when using VO, you could see characters in the first
column.
Well, at least for Windows.
I remembered that there was a fold option for column one that had to be
turned on.
I thought it was the commented line on the end of the file, vo_base.vim
from the directory ftplugin:
" vim600: set foldmethod=marker foldlevel=0:
I commented that out and added:
set foldcolumn=0
Then I was fine.
Of course, after trying a lot of other things first.
