Hi Tim,

This isn't responsive to the hardware side of your question, but VO is the 
best notetaking tool I've ever seen. However, it fails me in two situations:

1) When I must write long strings of text
2) When I must copy something from the whiteboard or video screen

#1 can be as simple as shorthand. Perhaps you should take a course in 
shorthand.

#2 requires a camera. If you hook a digital camera to your notebook, together 
with scripting to insert the resulting picture as an executable line in VO, 
that problem is taken care of.

The cool thing about taking notes with VO is that you write and organize at 
the same time, so you don't run the risk of unusable notes if you don't have 
time to reorganize your notes later that day.
