FYI, I have a file "einkaufen.otl", i.e. "groceryList.otl", which
contains all of the "regular" stuff I need to get at least once a month
from one large local store, organized by aisle, optimized for shortest
time taking the usual congestion areas into account.

Friday mornings, I print it, grab a pencil
and walk through cellar, pantry and kitchen crossing out things that
are still available in sufficient amounts. Usually there is enough stuff
left for me to get to every corner on every level in the store.

Friday afternoon, when I usually get around to do the shopping, I have
to walk through the shop *just once* through relatively uncrowded
aisles and am sure to not have to return to the upper floor just before
I hit the register.

Nobody shops faster than me :-)
