Hello again...
> It sounds like the association to the file extension has become lost.
The association was lost (.otl was associated with Opera. Don't ask me
why...) But I restored it to GVim before subscribing to this list and it
didn't change anything.

Isn't it GVim that as to associate .otl files with VO? Ubuntu only has
to associate them with GVim. Am I wrong?
> Have you done any software or Vim upgrades since the last time you
used VO and it worked?
Lots, through automatic updates of my OS. But I can't recall if Vim was
updated sometime the last month.

just like a VO outline 2) It will act partially like a VO outline 3) It
won't act like a VO outline
It doesn't act at all like VO. *sigh* No different colors. No
expansion/collapse possible. ... Just plain text.
> ~/.vim/ftdetect
No such directory on my disk. By the way, I'm pretty sure there never
was one, even when VO worked well. Is it possible?
> my_vo_extensions.vim, in your ~/.vim/ftdetect directory
I created the directory and the files as requested. GVim handles the
.emdl file as ... plain text :-(

What is "sourcing vo_base.vim"?
Any idea?
